The Oregon® ThatchMax Universal Mower Blade was designed as a replacement upgrade for walk-behind lawn mowers with 21" and 22" decks. It includes center hole adapters for compatibility with mowers by Toro, Craftsman, Husqvarna, and other major brands. Ideal for routine maintenance and light-to-moderate thatch removal, this multitasking lawn mower blade will save you time by allowing you to dethatch, rake, cut, and mulch, all in a single pass. Dethatching keeps your lawn healthy by breaking up and removing the layer of dead grass, roots, stems, and organic debris known as thatch. Too much thatch can harm your lawn by inhibiting the uptake of water, air, fertilizer, and vital nutrients. ThatchMax uses nylon tines which, once worn down, can be replaced without having to replace the entire mower blade.
