* Charge times vary depending on battery capacity and specific charger. Our chargers provide intelligent charging. A solid green light indicates the battery has reached an optimum charge level - approximately 85-95%. The charger then continues to charge the battery to a max charge level at a slower rate. This reduction in charge rate helps maximize the life of the battery. |
Capacity (Wh) = Voltage (V) x Ampere hours (Ah)
Batteries are best measured in Watt hours (Wh) which is the combination of Volt (V) and Ampere hours (Ah). For example, our 40V MAX* 4.0 Ah battery provides more capacity than a 56V 2.0 Ah battery.

To maximize the life of your Oregon Battery Pack, you should follow these instructions for storage:
+ Remove the battery pack from the tool.
+ For maximum battery life, make sure the battery pack is charged once per year or when the LED indicator shows only one light.
+ Store in a cool, dry place with temperatures above 14°F (-10°C) but below 86°F (30°C).
+ Do not store a battery in a completely discharged condition.
